Gifty had several times  debunked rumours of being married  despite overwhelming evidence and even  after her  husband's cousin shared photos from her marriage ceremony .

A three-year-old child, Chiagozie Okereke, has been murdered allegedly by a Muslim cleric, Kazeem Alimson, popularly known as Alfa. The incident, which was described by security operatives and neighbours in the area as ‘the most bizarre occurrence in the neighbourhood’ sent shock, followed by pandemonium and palpable fear, shivers down the spines of residents. It happened at the White Sand area of Isheri-Oshun in Ejigbo area of Lagos State. One 15-year-old boy, Simon Kanu, confessed to have been paid N500 by the said Alfa in order to lure the baby, adding that the baby was killed with a heavy stone in his presence. Pilot Dara Fitzpatrick has been named as the first victim of an Irish Coast Guard helicopter which vanished before crashing into the sea. The experienced pilot was confirmed dead by the Coast Guard after her body was recovered from the water  on Tuesday  morning. A desperate search for her three colleagues continues, but the rescue team are beginning to lose hope of finding them. The helicopter Dara was flying in had been sent to rescue an injured man who needed urgent medical attention on board a UK-registered fishing vessel around 150 miles west of Eagle Island.when it crashed. Two helicopters. R116 and R118, were sent at about  9.40 p.m. , with R116 providing safety and communication support while R118 picked up the man. A pregnant 19-year-old aspiring model from Navasota, Texas, Fredzania Thompson, was fatally struck by a train during a photoshoot on the train tracks in a bid to launch her modeling career, on Friday. The teen who attended Blinn College in Bryan wanted to put her education on hold to begin modeling, her mother, Hakamie Stevenson told the Eagle. "That's definitely what she wanted to do," Hakamie Stevenson said. "It's what she had started to do the day she was deceased." According to authorities, Thompson was standing between two sets of tracks Friday in Navasota when a BNSF Railway train approached. She moved out of the way, but was unaware that a Union Pacific train was coming in the opposite direction and got struck by the train. The teen passed away from her injuries on her way to the hospital, the photographer was not injured at all.
