Musician, Davido just announced on Snapchat that his second babymama-to-be, Amanda, would soon deliver his second daughter, Hailey. They hosted a lavish baby shower for her in Atlanta, U.S  on Sunday .

A 49-year-old auto dealer, Tunde Olatunbosun, who poses as a Nigerian Soldier, has been arrested by the police in Ogun State for allegedly killing a tanker driver at a carwash in Abeokuta. It was gathered that the suspect, who had been on the run since committing the crime penultimate Saturday, was nabbed with one pump action gun, 43 live cartridges, military camouflage uniform and different vehicle number plates. Confessing to committing the said crime, when being paraded on Monday alongside nine other suspected criminals by the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, at the state police headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, Tunde alleged that his rifle was meant to scare away people, adding that he shot the deceased in error. News Telegraph reports that the father of three was arrested by operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), barely 48 hours after he reportedly shot dead a motorboy simply identified as Rasaq at a carwash in Leme area of Abeokuta. The handler who is now managing controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo's account, has begged fans to donate to her legal expenses, as she's still locked in Port Harcourt prison, following the defamation law suit against her. The handler also posted account numbers and other monetary agencies she can get money from. However some of her followers think the person now managing her account, is planning to scam them, while others have sworn never to donate.

Racism has been an issue in the football world, and though it affects many psychologically, but it is not so with Nigerian Footballer, Emmanuel Emenike. The successful footballer who plays for Fernabache, Turkey, took to his Instagram page to share some comments he gets on some of his posts. Some of the comments had racist comment like "monkey" and "banana" emojis in it.  The Nigerian footballer has however, told those who dropped comments like that, to add "rich monkey" to it.

Uber Nigeria drivers protested against recent price reduction yesterday and going home with almost nothing. ,According to the drivers who disclosed how angry they were, Uber reduced the fare charges but didn't reduce commission they take from drivers.  They have currently blocked the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.

Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, has assured Nigerians not to lose hope, saying the current recession is a phase that will soon be over. She said this on Sunday while speaking with journalists after attending the 20th anniversary of the Treasure House of God, Abeokuta. According to Punch, the minister, who noted that God knew about this phase and would see the country through, added that Nigerians should not be despondent. She said,  “The message I have for Nigerians is a message of hope and encouragement. Yes, I believe Nigerians are going through difficult times.  “But we are very confident that by God’s grace, God that started the work would finish it to everybody’s satisfaction.  “God will turn around things for Nigeria. He knows why we are passing through this stage and I know we will overcome.”
