Toyin Lawani's baby daddy, Lord Trigg, was  on Monday  morning arrested over unpaid hotel bills. The father of one and three of his friends were residing at the Golden Bird Hotel in Lagos for months without paying any bill. After efforts to persuade them to pay up failed, the owner of the hotel called in the police to arrest them and they were detained.   However, it appears someone came to Trigg's rescue and eventually bailed him out, as he took control of his Instagram account and released a message urging people to stop involving the name of the mother of his son, Toyin Lawani, in every thing he does. Following the violence that led to the death of a leader of Motorcycle Operators’ Association of Lagos State (MOALS) in Oshodi, Rasaq Bello popularly known as Hamburger, the Lagos state Government today suspended activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in all the seven branches in the area indefinitely. The affected branches are LOB A, LOB D, LOB J, Oshodi A, Oshodi B, Oshodi C and Oshodi D. The State Government, in a press conference jointly addressed by officials of the State, the police and NURTW at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa, said while the suspension order lasts, there would be no collection of tickets/fees from commuter buses operating in the area. Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, today called for the sanction of banks and other financial institutions that help in financial crimes both locally and internationally. Osinbajo made the call when he spoke at the Conference on Promoting International Co-operation in Combating Illicit Financial Flows and Enhancing Asset Recovery to Foster Sustainable Development in Abuja. Osinbajo in his speech, said many countries have signed treaties for combating drugs and human trafficking related crimes but have failed to deploy such measures towards the fight against financial crimes. The Senate President Bukola Saraki and his wife, Mrs Toyin Saraki are set to  give out their eldest daughter, Tosin,25, out in marriage. Mrs Saraki, the founder of WellBeing Africa Foundation, made the announcement on her social media page, adding that the family will not be releasing further details about the upcoming nuptial, "in respect of the couple-to-be's privacy."  On May 30th, Mrs Aisha Buhari departed Nigeria to London to be with her husband, President Buhari, who is receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment. She arrived back in Nigeria  on Monday  night through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
