Comedian Basketmouth shares opinion on the hardest part of parenting

Father-of-three, Basketmouth today shared what he feels is the most difficult task of parenting. Kunle Afolayan stranded after forgetting his passport, laptop in an Uber ride in Paris

Nigerian filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan is currently in Paris and needs help. According to him, he rode in an Uber earlier today and forgot a small bag which has his passport, laptop and other valuables but he's not been able to retrieve them hours later. He took to social media to call for help saying; 'HELP! We rode with this Uber this morning from the airport in @Paris to town and unfortunately forgot a small bag which has My international passport, laptop and other valuables. Don’t wish us dead, you still need our mentoring- Obasanjo tells Nigerian youths

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Sunday, appealed to Nigerian youths to desist from wishing their past leaders, including him dead, as the youths still need their mentoring and advise‎. Democracy day: Acting President Yemi Osinbajo addresses the nation, read full text of his speech

To celebrate this year's Democracy day, acting president, Yemi Osinbajo, this morning addressed the nation. In his speech, he highlighted the progress made by the Military in the war against Boko Haram, engagement of the Niger Deltans. He said the government is working with State governments, and tasking security agencies with designing effective strategies and interventions that will bring this menace to an end.    On the fight against corruption, Osinbajo said the war against corruption is on course and that the government will not relent in its fight to bring those who looted government funds within the last few years to book. He said the Finance ministry through the Treasury Single Account has blocked all leakages in government funds. On the economy, he expressed regret at the recession and the rippled effect it has had on employment rates. Amnda Black and rapper Kwesta walked away victorious at the annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) after they bagged four awards each. Amanda and Kwesta both did a clean sweep at the awards ceremony, which took place tonight at the Sun City Superbowl. The Amazulu hitmaker walked away with gongs for Best Newcomer of the Year, Best Female Artist of the Year and Best Album of the Year and Best R&B/Soul/Reggae Album While Kwesta bagged awards for Best Male Artist of the Year, Best Rap Album, Highest Airplay and Best Collaboration for his hit, Ngud, with rapper Cassper Nyovest. Rapper Nasty C who bagged the most awards at the Metro FM Music Awards walked away with the prestigious Record of The Year Award. Following the imprisonment of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Lanre Gentry and marital crisis show that have been put up on social media by the couple, the Lagos State Government has written to the Nigerian Police, demanding that it forward the duplicate of the case file on alleged assault on the Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe by her husband, Lanre Gentry. According to Vanguard, the request for the case file shows the State Government’s resolve not to back down from the case between actress and her husband. The couple The State Government in a letter written through the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, DPP, May 22, indicated its interest in prosecuting the alleged case of assault.
