The Plateau Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Mr Samuel Galadima, slumped and died on Wednesday, while jogging along with Governor Simon Lalong, at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos. The Director of Press Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Nanle, who confirmed the incident said: “Yes, the commissioner slumped while jogging and was rushed to the Plateau Specialist  Hospital, where he died.” Nanle said that the official was gasping for breath by the time he arrived the hospital. “Doctors tried to stabilise him but could not. We have lost him,” he said. (NAN) Just like that, someone that woke up this morning and decided to go jog is gone! May his soul rest in peace.

Harvard University in Boston, United States, has reportedly refuted a claim by Senator Dino Melaye that he was at any time educated at the prestigious Ivy League school. The Registrar’s Office immediately dismissed the suggestion yesterday as soon as an official cross-checked it. According to TTT, before going into the show, he had a conversation with his wife and because they are very private people who like to keep their private lives private, they agreed he should keep his family out of the show. Customs chief Hameed Ali will not appear before the Senate today. Senators have been insisting that the Comptroller-General should appear “in uniform” to explain the planned enforcement of duty collection on old vehicles. Col. Ali told reporters in Abuja yesterday that he would stay away from the Senate in deference to a court order. Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami also wrote to the Senate, urging it to suspend its invitation to the Customs CG because of the court matter. But the Senate insisted that no court could stop it from carrying out its constitutional duty. TheNation reports a source said the lawmakers might consider issuing a warrant for Col. Ali’s arrest. Col. Ali told reporters after attending a meeting at the Presidential Villa that “the case is in court  already”. ”Somebody has sued us. It is subjudice. Thin Tall Tony, who was evicted from the Big Brother Naija house on Sunday, has said “I did my best, but fate is the ultimate header”. He also stated that he will make the N25million which he would have pocketed if he won, within three months. TTT began his media tour on Tuesday, after arriving the country following his eviction.
