A Nigerian man, Fred Feany has boasted that he will trek from Lagos to Kano if the Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy ever ties the knot with celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji. This comes after the surprising announcement of Banky W and Adesuwa Etomi’s engagement on Wednesday. The duo had acted in the movie 'Wedding Party'. Don Jazzy had gone on Twitter 'indirectly' asking Linda Ikeji out after saying he would love to act in a movie with her since it was the same format that Banky W used to get his own wife-to-be. Linda Ikeji had also replied, giving a condition that as long as the movie would be on her TV, there’s no problem. While all these was going on, a fan jumped out of the blues to make a dare that if the two finally get married, he would trek from Lagos to Kano. If Don Jazzy and Linda Ikeji do the impossible by getting married, all eyes will be on Fred Feany to fulfill the impossible.

Actress, Mercy Aigbe's husband, Larry Gentry in a chat with BONOnline, on Wednesday morning, have alleged that she has mental issues and he is the one who knows how many places they’ve been to so she can remain stable, saying he has papers to prove it.   The University of Ibadan on Wednesday said a 100 Level female Law student of the institution died on Monday during a show at her hall of residence. A statement signed by the institution’s Director of Public Communications, Olatunji Oladejo, said Miss Effiong Imarbong died after she jumped from a dangerous position having displayed signs of restlessness during the show. The statement said, “It is with deep regret that the management of the University of Ibadan announces the sudden death of Miss Effiong Deborah Imarbong, a 100 Level student in our Faculty of Law on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. “Her sudden death, however, remains a mystery. It is in the light of the above that the university management wishes to state that the cause(s) of her death are still being investigated by the appropriate authorities. A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, on Wednesday sentenced an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Yisa Olarenwaju, charged with obtaining proceeds of unlawful act. They were brought to court on a six-count charge of money laundering to the tune of N500 million, which they pleaded not guilty but the second defendant later changed his plea to guilty. Olarenwaju, thereafter, entered into a plea bargain agreement with the EFCC on May 2.  At the resumed hearing, Justice Mohammed Idris convicted and sentenced the INEC official.  In the sentencing, Justice Mohammed Idris sentenced the INEC official based on a plea bargain agreement he reached with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The court adopted the plea bargain agreement as the judgment of the court.  The plea bargain agreement stated that; ”Upon the conviction of the second defendant, he should forfeit to the Federal Government of Nigeria all the parcel of land and its appu

Gossip Magazine, Star Magazine reported the Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's marriage is over and they are having divorce drama after just 17 months of marriage. According to their report, Sofia was spotted without her wedding ring in Rome and was cheating on her husband. In a swift response, Joe took to Instagram today to defend Sofia and blast the magazine, saying   "Big surprise everyone but Star created a fake story and then photo shopped my wife's engagement ring off of her finger in order to sell magazines. 25 Youth Corps member, Charity Wadzani Thilza, pictured above, who is supposed to pass out from the NYSC scheme today May 4th, has died after she was shot dead by some armed robbers in Abuja on Monday May 1st. According to reports, Charity, who is from Borno state, had gone to a night club where singer Phyno performed and was returning home with three of her friends and a man when they were attacked by robbers. The armed robbers chased their vehicle, shooting at it to force the driver to stop. One of the bullets hit Charity. The robbers stopped the hot chase when they realized that their victims were heading towards a police station. Charity was rushed to the hospital but was rejected by the medical staff. Said to be the first child of her parents, Charity served at the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps in Abuja and had hoped to continue working with the agency after her service. May her soul rest in peace Amen.

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture has said that the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari at Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) for the fourth week running was because he decided to follow doctors orders. Mohammed stated this while briefing State House correspondents after the FEC meeting, which was presided over by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He said: 'I know you will want to know why the President was not at the meeting.
