Father of Davido’s cousin B-red and member of the Nigerian Senate, Isiaka Adeleke has died. The three-term Senator currently representing Osun West Senatorial district having won the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in 2015. He was aged 62. Adeleke died Sunday at Bikets Hospital in Oshogbo, the Osun state capital, after suffering a heart attack according to family sources. His death came just hours after he engaged in a political meeting which terminated late Saturday. Until his death, Mr. Adeleke chaired the Senate committee on capital market. He was in the Senate for the second time, having first represented Osun West between 2007 and 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party. He could not return to the Senate in 2011, after he was defeated by Mudashiru Hussein of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria. Popular comedian, I Go Dye, has some words of advise for BBNaija winner, Efe. I Go Dye, ha advised Efe, to stop talking about his poor upbringing and enjoy his new found fame and popularity instead. During AY Live comedy show, I Go Dyre advised Efe saying: “Efe, you just dey shout “Who I be” up and down like say na you suffer pass, you better stop am! You think say na only you don suffer? Make I tell you, plenty of us dey wey don suffer pass you before we come later get money o, if you hear some of us story ehn, you go shut up. When I never get money, hunger don make me chop dog food for Ali Baba house before. You don chop dog food before? So no go dey think say na you suffer pass o, people don suffer pass you well”, he told Efe.

Veteran actor, Olumide Bakare is dead. Former president of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, NANTAP, Mufu Onifade confirmed the sad news adding that he passed on early Saturday. “He had a successful surgery and after the surgery, he talked to people and told them he was fine. But two hours later, he passed on. It is very painful because I had actually been wishing him a quick recovery.  “Olumide Bakare is someone who was a hundred percent committed to the theatre profession. He started on stage and then from there, went on TV, did radio and then film which was where he settled. Of course he became much more popular for his stint of TV in Oluwa Langbe Lodge. That was what brought him to limelight. You can’t fault him as a professional. He is someone who was very discipline. I see him as the last of the second generation of actors in Nigeria,” Onifade said.  May his soul Rest In Peace
