CEO of Ebony life Tv. Mo Abudu was dragged into the recent discovery of cash by EFCC at an apartment in Ikoyi. As the case goes on, Fayose's media aide, Lere Olayinka claims the apartment 7a and 7b where the money was found belonged to Rotimi Amaechi who gave one f the apartments to his 'girlfriend' Mo Abudu.

Now, Mo Abudu through her lawyer have issued a statement saying it's all lies. According to the press statement, 'Mo Abudu did not receive any apartment as a gift from Hon Rotimi Amaechi or any other person. One of those that would miss late actress Moji Olaiya would be her friend, Lola Alao. They were both converted to Islam. Lola Alao and other actresses Mide Funmi Martins and Bimbo Oshin At the burial of Moji’s remains in Lagos on Wednesday June 7 in Ikoyi Cemetery, it almost proved difficult pacifying Lola Alao. She wept uncontrollably. Ireti Osayemi Same was the situation with Bimbo Oshin, who wept throughout the burial ceremony and was consoled by Mide Funmi-Martins and grace Amah.
