Drama! Babymama surfaces at MOCPED Provost, Professor Akeusola's 8th Fidau
Prof Olurotimi Sikiru Akeusola, Provost Micheal Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) suddenly breathed his last a week ago, at the age of 55, reportedly after a brief illness.
There was a mild drama at his 8th day fidau prayer when a woman came out from the crowd to inform the Muslim clerics conducting the prayers that the baby she was holding was ‘fathered’ by the deceased.
She told them that she came all the way from United States of America to attend the fidau prayer.
And that the name of her baby, Abass, was given to him by the Professor himself.
The clerics prayed for her and the baby.
The fidau prayer which took place at 9, Akogun Olu Akeusola Drive, T-Junction Epe, Lagos, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, had in attendance the three officially known wives of the late Provost. They
and some other dignitaries were present when the announcement was made.
Encomium.ng reports that according to a close friend of the deceased who attended the fidau prayer, it was also announced by the clerics that another woman who had a baby for the late Professor is based in London but could not make the trip to the fidau prayer.
The only person, the source added, who was distraught by the news of her husband having children by other women among the three officially known wives is the last wife who did not have any issue for him in more than five years that they were together as husband and wife.
The first wife, Mrs Sherifat Akeusola, who the late Professor impregnated in their college days at Lagos state College Of Education, Ijanikin, who is now a teacher at Federal Government College , Ijanikin , has three children for him.
His second wife, who is now a lecturer at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education also has children for him.
The third wife who is the first daughter of his former colleague at Lagos State College of Education, Ijanikin, Mr Akobada and who is in her late 20’s is the only one that did not have any child for him.
Ironically, none of the three officially known wives was living with him in his palatial No 9, Akogun Olu Akeusola Drive, T-Junction Epe, residence when he was alive.
