Come the 9th of April,  Nigeria's 1st female comedienne will be celebrating 25 yrs in the entertainment industry. She is putting up an all female performing event, from live band, to female DJ,  female comedienne, female musicians and she is also inviting female bouncers, female camera women and photographers.


 Mandy says that it's time we women come out and support ourselves.
Mandy who got her break from the charly boy show and latter became a stand up comedienne from hip hop world 1st ever girls nite out event says she believes its time women start building a web to work together than pull ourself down like the crab. The event a black tie event is at the civic center and it's strictly by invitation.

One of those that would miss late actress Moji Olaiya would be her friend, Lola Alao. They were both converted to Islam. Lola Alao and other actresses Mide Funmi Martins and Bimbo Oshin At the burial of Moji’s remains in Lagos on Wednesday June 7 in Ikoyi Cemetery, it almost proved difficult pacifying Lola Alao. She wept uncontrollably. Ireti Osayemi Same was the situation with Bimbo Oshin, who wept throughout the burial ceremony and was consoled by Mide Funmi-Martins and grace Amah.
